Molybdenum-Lanthanum Alloy (Mo-La), also known as Lanthanated Molybdenum, is a high-performance refractory metal alloy containing small amounts of lanthanum oxide (La₂O₃). This addition enhances the alloy’s strength, ductility, and resistance to recrystallization, making it ideal for high-temperature applications. Mo-La exhibits superior creep resistance, improved machinability, and excellent thermal stability compared to pure molybdenum. Due to its outstanding properties, this alloy is widely used in aerospace, furnace components, and high-temperature structural applications.
